Looking after your clear retainer

Follow the instructions supplied with your appliance. For Iconic Lux retainers, use a soft brush and cold water. Avoid hot water and toothpaste, which can damage the appliance. Keep it in its case when it is not being worn.

When should I replace my retainer?

We recommend replacing your retainer every six months. This is our general replacement guideline; how long a retainer lasts will vary depending on how often it is worn and how it is cared for.

Follow your orthodontist’s instructions on when and how long to wear your retainer. Contact your dental professional if your teeth have moved or the retainer is painful, cracked or no longer fits. Do not force it into place.

What if my impression is not suitable?

We will explain what needs another attempt. One additional impression attempt is free. Further materials are chargeable; please contact us first so we can advise whether you need putty alone or a complete kit.

How do I choose a night guard?

Choose from 1.5mm, 2mm and 3mm Iconic Soft EVA. Each thickness is £64.95 with an impression kit. If you are unsure which is suitable for you, ask your dental professional. Replace the guard when worn out; there is no fixed six-month replacement recommendation for night guards.

How do bleaching trays work?

We supply custom 1.5mm Iconic Semi Rigid trays only, with no bleaching gel. The dots are guides for gel placement, not a guarantee of an exact dose. Follow your dental professional’s advice and your gel manufacturer’s instructions for quantity, treatment times and cleaning.

What does the fit guarantee cover?

Contact us within 14 days of receipt for a free remake or refund under the fit guarantee. Eligible retainers, night guards and bleaching trays are covered. Same-scan retainer reorders over seven months after the last order are excluded from this voluntary guarantee. Your statutory rights are unaffected. Read the full policy.

Yes. We use guest checkout. Keep your confirmation email and order number for support and repeat orders.
